Game officially launching now!
Multiplayer now stable
They say in game development, when a game is 90% done, you’d need another 90% to finish it. True.
After several weeks in beta and a myriad of bugfixes, tweaks adjustments, I’m happy to announce that “Life in Quarantine” is finally finished. Our latest test games didn’t uncover any big issues anymore, so I’m quite happy with the result!
I’m happy to announce that the game is now finished and ready for launch!
I will continue to fix bugs and tweak things if new issues are discovered.
Only a few new things happened since the last dev log:
- Multiplayer: the connection status icon (indicating ping time) is shown in the top right for each player
- Removed the “Beta” from the Multiplayer Button Caption
- Singleplayer: Need a mask to enter the shop for buying toilet paper
The game got one Server in the USA and one in EU, so if you happen to be near to one of them, you should have a great gaming experience! Make sure to invite your friends in case no one is online. Also I recommend to play the single player, which acts as a tutorial to teach the controls.
